Michigan is seeking qualified people to be trained to teach the Michigan Traffic Incident Management Effort (Mi-TIME) Program to first responders and supporting operations. This coordinated, multi-disciplinary training program, developed through the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP2) is available for all first responders supporting Traffic Incident Management operations. The training places firefighters, police, state and local departments of transportation, towing, medical personnel and other incident responders on the same page, leading to a safer, faster, integrated responder team.

A Train the Trainer session is scheduled for February 26-27, 2017, in Lansing, Michigan. The session runs for a day and half, wrapping up at 12:00 p.m. on the second day. The training is free to attend but attendees are required to commit to teaching other first responders.
