MAAS is the trade association representing pre-hospital care providers in Michigan. We actively speak for our members' interests in legislative and regulatory matters.

 We provide educational and informational meetings for the members during the year. Members receive the EMS Fastbreak on a periodic basis to keep them current. Find out more MAAS in the About MAAS section.

MAAS members particapte in a Self-Insured Worker's Comp fund to treat their Worker's Comp more as an investment than an expense.  To date participating members have been refunded premium in the amount of $3,400,000.

H1N1 Flu Symptoms!

  Influenza usually starts suddenly and can bring on these symptons:                     

Fever, usually high 

Headache

Tiredness, which can be extreme

Cough

Sore throat

Runny or stuffy nose

Body aches
 Diarrhea and vomiting, although they are more common in children than adults.
