MAAS is the trade association representing pre-hospital care providers in Michigan. We actively speak for our members' interests in legislative and regulatory matters.
We provide educational and informational meetings for the members during the year. Members receive the EMS Fastbreak on a periodic basis to keep them current. Find out more MAAS in the About MAAS section.
MAAS members particapte in a Self-Insured Worker's Comp fund to treat their Worker's Comp more as an investment than an expense. To date participating members have been refunded premium in the amount of $3,400,000.

Sad News
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we inform you that MAAS Board Member Venetia Bryers passed away Sunday morning, February 28. Venetia loved EMS and was a wonderful advocate and supporter. She will be missed.
Obituary:
Venetia Anne Bryers, 58, of 1520 Lake Shore Drive, Gladstone, passed away in her sleep of natural causes Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at her residence.
Visitation starts at 10:00 am at the Skradski and Crawford Funeral Home 706 Wisconsin, Gladstone, Michigan, (906) 428-3220 with funeral services to follow at 2:30 pm. on Saturday, March 6, at the All Saints Catholic Church 715 Wisconsin Ave., P.O. Box 392 Gladstone, Michigan. Memorial donations may be made to the Gladstone Scholarship Fund or the Community Olympics Program.
